Will it sting?
A mild tingle for the first week is normal with azelaic acid. Persistent burning is not. If that happens, use it every other night until your skin adjusts.
How long before my marks fade?
Active breakouts usually settle within 4 to 6 weeks. Post-acne marks take longer — 10 to 12 weeks is realistic, and they fade gradually rather than disappearing.
Can I use it with retinol?
Not on the same night. Alternate — azelaic one night, retinol the next. Using both together is the most common cause of a damaged barrier.
Is it safe during pregnancy?
Azelaic acid is generally considered one of the safer actives in pregnancy, but this is a conversation for your doctor, not a product page. Ask them before using anything new.
Morning or Night?
