Is 2% too strong for daily use?
In a wash, no. Contact time is under a minute, so it is much gentler than a 2% leave-on. Twice daily is fine for most oily skin.
Will it dry my skin out?
It can if you also use other acids. If your skin feels tight, drop to once a day and moisturise after.
Can I use it on body acne?
Yes. It works well on back and chest. Leave it on for 30 seconds before rinsing.
How long before breakouts reduce?
Usually 4 to 6 weeks. Some people see an initial purge in the first fortnight as congestion clears — that settles.
Can I use it with a salicylic serum?
Not usually. One or the other. Both together is where the dryness and irritation start.
